Tragalgar Square is a very famous place in central London next to Westminster.It' a very touristic place. On the center, there is the column of Nelson. This place commemorates the battle of Trafalgar : in 1805 october the 21th, a naval battle opposed the British led by Nelson and the Napoleon army composed of French and Spanish. Even though Nelson died, the British lost very few ships compared to the Napoleon army which had to abondonned to conqueer the United Kingdon and had to return. They just lost this battle (D'où l'expresion quand tt part en vrille de dire "mais c'est Trafalgar!!) It was one of the worst defeat of Napoleon
