In this painting, you can see two young children, a boy and a girl. Both of them are hiding something behind their backs. The girl seems to be holding a bat/ weapon and the boy seems to be holding a cactus.  There could be several different meaning but i think that this painting is trying to say that there is no one out there you can trust and that you have to be careful because anyone could turn on you at any given moment.
