On a : 1 + (- 2) = - 1 ; 3 + (- 4) = - 1 ; 5 + (- 6) = - 1 ; ... ; 997 + (- 998) = - 1

et 999 + (- 1000) = - 1 ; donc on a  :

1 + ( - 2) + 3 + (- 4) + 5 + (- 6) + .... + 997 + (- 998) + 999 + (- 1000)

= (- 1) + (- 1) + (- 1) + .... + (- 1) + (- 1) il y a 500 fois le nombre (- 1)

= (- 1) x 500 = - 500 .

(- 1) + (- 1) + .... + (- 1) = (- 1) x 1000 car il y a 1000 fois le nombre (- 1)

= - 1000 .

3.

(- 1) x (- 1) x .... x (- 1) = (- 1)^(1000) car il y a 1000 fois le nombre (- 1)

= 1 car 1000 est un nombre pair .

4.

(- 1) x (- 1) x .... x (- 1) = (- 1)^(1001) car il y a 1001 fois le nombre (- 1)

= - 1 car 1001 est un nombre impair .

5.

1 + 2 + 3 + ..... + 997 + 998 + 999 + 1000

= (1 + 1000) + (2 + 999) + (3 + 998) + .... + (448 + 449) +(500 + 501)

= 1001 + 1001 + 1001 + .... + 1001 + 1001 il ya 500 fois le nombre 500

= 500 x 1001 =500500 .
