1- If children are allowed to have a social media, the parents should absolutely keep a close eye on them.  Everyone has heard about harassment on social medias. It is driven them to suicide. You may trust your child, but you don't know what's happening behind the screen, which messages he is receiving..

2- In my opinion children of elementary school are too young to own a cell phone. I know some parents think their children have to be able to contact them in case of .... But they are mainly giving up to the pressure of their kids willing to be as all the others. In that case, they should use a strong  parental control. But this won't help harassment anyway.

Then doctors, psychologists are alarming us how bad the screens can be. Not only because of the electromagnetic waves, but because  most of the teenagers, children, adults too, are using too much their cell phone. Kids are falling asleep very late at night because of its use. They have problems concentrating in classes.
